equosano was founded in 2018 to give New Zealand horse owners, trainers and riders access to high quality, natural and organic equine products.

Our vision, mission and goal is to enhance the well being of horses and their carers by connecting horse owners, riders and trainers to the healing power of nature through unique, nature-derived equosano equine products.

equosano is not a mass-market brand. Our aim is to serve less people by spending more time handcrafting high quality, organic equine products—we do not aim to be everywhere for everybody.

Our nature derived equine products are bioactive, therapeutic and beautifying—and free of parabens, animal by-products, propylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulfates, harmful colourants, synthetic fragrances, mineral oil, petroleum and other harsh chemicals that cause toxicity in people and animals.  We do not use severe heating or hydrogenating processes that can affect the nutritional content and potency of natural ingredients, and we handcraft our products in small batches to ensure their quality and freshness. *Please read Our Products page to gain more detailed information about the ingredients we use and don't use.
